Barry Miller: Daddy

Singer/songwriter Barry Miller dropped me a line recently, "I am probably the best singer/songwriter you never heard of.  From Austin to Australia my music has been compared to Bob Dylan, J.J. Cale, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson to name a few.  In 2008 I was awarded the first ever Music Award for Ventura Roots and Independant Creations (MAVRIC) for my song "Daddy".  In 2007 Steve Booth, music writer for the VCReporter, called my CD NORMAL, CA 'Entertainment magic!'  Some of my more prominent admirers outside this area are/were the late great Delaney Bramlett (producer of Eric Clapton's first solo LP) who told me my songs "Daddy" and "Ten More" were 'some of the best songs I've heard in years' and Jimmy Z, legendary session man and harominca/sax player for the Etta James Band, who digs all of my work."
